I had the chuckle at this one for a bit, just a validation that some traders in this arena have no concept how a short squeeze happens, they happen over time, not in one day, it is like any other process that takes time to overcome them, there is no reason for this to have to have a short squeeze in one day and shorted back down again with new short position. G*ME had a process and so did AM*C and both of them took over 3-4 months for the squeeze to happen and so will SMCI, but with SMCI will be sooner, the fundamentals are unmatched compared to the former meme stocks. Who knows, SMCI might even have VW gamma squeeze, let the process work its way, the shorts have been given warning to cover and due time if they don't this slow torture is going to roast them.
"Slightly disappointing day but only depending on context. Any other situation and you'd be thrilled to be up 7 dollars a share.
I guess we are all a little surprised we didn't see a short squeeze here, and maybe we won't until we hear from the new auditor?
I also think there is a general idea that Nvidia will push the entire NASDAQ down tomorrow and that would give an opportunity for shorts to cover her without getting killed.
One thing is for sure, this is going up, I'd say 40 by year end is not unrealistic or overly bullish."

SuperMicro at SC24....
SC24, or Supercomputing 2024, is like the Woodstock of the high-performance computing world, only with fewer tie-dye shirts and more teraflops. It's an annual conference where the cream of the HPC (High Performance Computing) community gathers to geek out over the latest in computing power, networking, storage, and analysis. This year, it's taking place in Atlanta, where attendees will likely be discussing everything from quantum computing to why their coffee machine at home doesn't work as fast as the supercomputers they're showcasing.
Imagine a place where the term "flops" doesn't refer to a failed attempt at a high-five, but rather floating-point operations per second. Here, you'll find an eclectic mix of scientists, engineers, researchers, and programmers, all united in their quest for computing enlightenment, or at least a better way to model climate change or simulate the universe's expansion.
And let's not forget, SC24 is also where the future of AI might be debated upon, with folks pondering whether machines will ever understand the true art of sarcasm, or if they'll just keep trying to serve us even more irrelevant ads.

Critical Audit Matter Description that Deloitte highlighted
gets a third pair of eyes...
page 51 in 2023 10K filing...
https://www.otcmarkets.com/filing/html?id=16892625&guid=gmY-kFtjc_XiIVh#SMCI-20230630_HTM_icac7281ee66a4bc980041b3207ca2865_148
Deloitte Audit was basis of SMCI
getting up listings in 2024...
Inventory that becomes obsolete with tech
evolving so fast must be written down then
and reduces the net earnings...
SMCI has been using a constant basis from
appearances on that subject...
10Q filing link from 03/30/2024...
https://www.otcmarkets.com/filing/html?id=17511383&guid=gmY-kFtjc_XiIVh
SMCI had about 1.4 billion of inventory to
end the 06/30/2023 quarter,,,fiscal year end...
then came the rapid advances of Ai
and new products...
Nine Months Ended
March 31,
2024 2023
OPERATING ACTIVITIES:
Net income $ 855,422 $ 446,429
Reconciliation of net income to net cash (used in) provided by operating activities:
Depreciation and amortization 29,174 25,932
The depreciation didn't change much from
03/31/2023 for nine months versus the
nine months ended 03/31/2024...
This could be an area where EY chose to
probe more and didn't get answers that
they felt ok with...
Maybe SMCI are magicians and never had
a need to depreciate or write down more
inventory as tech changes accelerated...
BDO can perform an Independent Audit
and add as many pages of Critical Disclosures
needed for the public review...
And SMCI will need to file that 10K then as
things are found to look since they could
be near the end of a timeline extension...
If Deloitte saw it as a Critical Matter then
it is good to be slower on the trigger until
another Auditor reveals their results...
Cash, sales, loans, inter company dealings
are easier to track...
An outside Auditor may need more assistance
to review how the older inventory moves or
whether it is out of date and should be recorded
as a charge against earnings...
Just something to watch as the Ai appears in a
little stall mode now anyway...
Old inventory in tech is like an oil company
spending to drill a dry well and has to be
accounted for timely and correctly...
So we watch...LJ

They couldn't have played this any better. Shorts are going roast slowly without mercy. Asians are the best when it comes to bluff. I can confidently say, Hindenburg barked on the wrong tree 6 billion dollar revenue generating that is. Hindenburg stand to lose big on this venture, just hope for their sake at least they hedged against their own bet, someone is going to make them pay big with FTD? Believe me, when FTD happens, you are dealing with much upside, we just don't know when.
Waiting for the last hr for a press release with an auditor has its advantages.
1) The element of surprise to the funds that were short on the stock. It's kind of like Montezuma's revenge, get it!
2) Leaked the rumor out to drive the price up and release the actual statement to drive it up again-Genius.
3) Make shorts believe there were no press release till after market is a great strategy
Bottom line is they outplayed those that try to gauge the game by shorting smci.

SMCI still has a lot misinformed flippers that are nickel and dime traders. People are still misunderstanding the situation. The company, the internal review committee, EY, and I have all confirmed that something occurred. Recently, the CFO clarified in a Twitter post that itโs a governance issue, not an accounting one, which aligns with EYโs concerns. According to the internal review committee, there is no evidence of fraud or misconduct.
Before engaging, BDO must have reviewed EYโs concerns with the company and likely reached an agreement. Additionally, the internal review report has already outlined suggested remedies, which the company plans to implement.

They just hired them LJ, what do you want them to say? "Oh!!! we knew that the previous auditor was going to quit because we are hard headed Asians, but instead we hired BDO way before this 8K"
Give it up bud, you can't fight the tape, just like you should never force a trade. Bottom line, there is going to be up days and down days, I am here until my price target is reached within the time frame I am looking at, again this is not a day trade and yes, I have that luxury fortunately. I am sitting on others too, here I have 180,000 dollars sitting on Delfin and have been sitting on there for 2.5 years and not sweating bullets either. This is going to go where it deserves, up, down, sideways, doesn't tickle me, the buck won't stop even at 50....60....70....80. Too big to fail.

During the fiscal years ended June 30, 2024 and 2023 and the subsequent interim periods through November 18, 2024, neither the Company nor anyone on its behalf has consulted with BDO regarding: (i) the application of accounting principles to a specific transaction, either completed or proposed, or the type of audit opinion that might be rendered on the Company's financial statements, and neither a written report nor oral advice was provided to the Company that BDO concluded was an important factor considered by the Company in reaching a decision as to any accounting, auditing, or financial reporting issue; (ii) any matter that was the subject of a โdisagreementโ within the meaning of Item 304(a)(1)(iv) of Regulation S-K and the related instructions; or (iii) any โreportable eventโ within the meaning of Item 304(a)(1)(v) of Regulation S-K.

All good, my personal price target is $200, will sell some between 120-150, time frame is 6-9 months, maybe we even hit those targets by Feb-March, it has all the ingredients to make it happen sooner than expected and I will make my million plus like I did with AM*C, but longer wait though, which I don't mind. I am adamantly committed to stay the course and no way rushing this trade. It will happen. Glad you are happy with this trade bud.
