FiberLogic Communications worked closely with Symmetricom on
validating the compliance of its OptiQNet842 and OptiQNet852, an
access-based Ethernet Demarcation Devices (EDD), with the IEEE
1588-2008 standard. Throughout the rigorous testing, FiberLogic's
Carrier Ethernet portfolio was shown to be capable of maintaining
precise and constant synchronization with Symmetricom's
carrier-grade TimeProvider® 5000 IEEE 1588-2008 Grandmaster Clock.

with backhaul from buildings and DSLAMs, and a growing mobile
backhaul application.
