The application of AI to the imagery Planet Labs provides is powerful beyond my imagination. This relationship may prove extremely valuable since it will help differentiate PL from the others in this field and also drive adaptation. Having an automated software tool for image characterization is a perfect fit. Watching to see if Synthetaic goes public.
