Amex Lists Market Participation Securities Based on the Nikkei 225 Index NEW YORK, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today began trading Morgan Stanley Market Participation Securities linked to the Nikkei 225 Index. Trading under the ticker symbol MJP, 1.9 million shares of the new seven-year securities were issued at $25 principal amount, with a maturity date of December 30, 2010. At maturity, each Unit will entitle the holder to receive the index-linked payment amount equal to $25 multiplied by the product of the quarterly performance amounts of the Nikkei 225 Index for each of the 29 quarterly valuation periods during the term of the issue. The issuer is Morgan Stanley and the Amex specialist unit for the new listing is AIM Securities/Aegis Joint Account.
