Datastream Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ:DSTME) announced that the United
Kingdom's Atomic Weapons Establishment Plc (AWE Plc) has selected
the Datastream 7i(TM) Asset Performance Management solution as part
of an enterprise-wide initiative to improve efficiency, meet key
regulatory requirements and drive down costs. AWE Plc has been
central to the defense of the United Kingdom for more than 50
years, providing and maintaining the warheads comprising the
country's nuclear deterrent. Datastream 7i is being deployed across
two sites located at Aldermaston and Burghfield in Berkshire, which
collectively cover nearly 1000 acres. The deployment will serve
approximately 300 end-users and enable AWE Plc to develop new
technologies to support their asset management processes.
