Tesla’s China operations team on Monday denied that a technical failure was to blame for a crash on Nov. 25 in the southwestern city of Chengdu involving a speeding Tesla and 11 other vehicles; three were injured but no one was killed. An analysis of the car by the US automaker found the accelerator pedal had been pressed hard, increasing the vehicle’s speed from 54 kilometers (34 miles) per hour to 132 km/h at the time of the crash. Queried online in China about why the brake light was on but the car did not slow down, the company explained that the brake pedal was only applied two seconds after the initial hit when the brake was already damaged. The car owner surnamed Wang told Chinese media outlets that his new Tesla, registered the same day, accelerated suddenly and had been unable to stop.

Researcher Discovers Tesla Design Flaw That May Cause Unintended Acceleration; NHTSA Reopens Investigation
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has reopened its investigation into a potential design flaw in Tesla vehicles, which may lead to sudden unintended acceleration. This comes after allegations were made that a voltage spike deep within the control systems could cause the vehicle to incorrectly read an accelerator input, even when none has occurred.
When Voltage Spikes Trigger Unintended Acceleration
Under certain circumstances, such as slow driving, when the power steering requires more power, the draw on the 12-volt battery can cause a significant spike in the system. This voltage surge could lead the inverter to incorrectly conclude that the accelerator pedal has been pressed, resulting in unintended acceleration.
This unexpected acceleration could theoretically happen when a voltage spike, lasting only microseconds, occurs simultaneously as the car performs an ADC check, also lasting microseconds. Belt suggests that the frequency of these events aligns with the 200 or so incidents reported between 2013 and 2019.
Adding complexity to this issue, Belt contends that due to the nature of the fault, it does not get logged as an error. The inverter’s misinterpretation of a voltage spike as a throttle input leaves no trace, leading to discrepancies between Tesla's vehicle data and owners' accounts, possibly explaining why the ODI initially denied the petition.
While Belt's allegations primarily focus on the Model 3, which features a unique inverter design, he notes that similar errors could occur in Model S and Model X vehicles. This opens up the potential for a broader scope in the ongoing investigation.
NHTSA Petition Claims Tesla Sudden Unintended Acceleration Is Real
What's worse is that the incorrectly increased sensor signals will be sent via the CAN bus to the vehicle logs, causing Tesla and NHTSA to conclude that the driver caused the sudden increase in torque by stepping on the accelerator pedal. But in this case, the sudden acceleration was caused not by the driver stepping on the accelerator pedal but by a random superposition of a negative-going voltage spike (which is about 100 microseconds long), and the sampling time of the analog-to-digital converter (which is about 10 microseconds long). This random superposition explains the low occurrence rate of sudden acceleration in Tesla vehicles
SUA has impacted every main Tesla car model S/X, 3/Y, & even the Cybertruck. Im not aware of an incident involving a Semi...yet...although the one that drove into the trees with an engine fire may have experienced SUA.
As this issue has impacted just about every Tesla model and year, i doubt Dr Belt's theory in relation to the the origin of the fault, is exactly correct and certainly not easy to fix as its still a problem. Thus i expect the NHTSA will deny this petition at some point despite this issue continuing to plague Teslas. I believe the problem of SUA is EM interference induced which impacts other EVs as well per a study in China. EMI can cause these voltage spikes to compensate from a drop in voltage as described in the following quote. E3 usually pertains to EM blast from a nuclear explosion but during geostorms/unrest this same sort of voltage depression can be observed in electrical systems.
E3 can also affect subtransmission and distribution systems by causing harmonic distortion and voltage depression. The voltage regulators at the substation will attempt to correct for low voltage levels on distribution circuits. This attempt can result in overvoltages when the E3 stimulus decays to a low value

When nearly the same crash elements occurs across a diverse collection of use cases regardless of model & year, the only logical conclusion is that there is something wrong with the vehicles themselves and that they pose a significant danger to society. Fire at Salem Tesla dealership sparks arson investigation
A fire at a Tesla dealership in Salem early Monday is being investigated as arson, the Salem Police Department reported.
At around 3:45 a.m., police and firefighters responded to reports that a car was on fire at the dealership located on Mission Street Southeast. Firefighters were able to put the fire out, which was limited to one vehicle.
Officers also found a window panel on the dealership building had been broken.
Unless there is actual disclosed evidence of arson, this sounds like another Tesla that spontaneously combusted. They claimed a dealership in Sweden was arson in 2017 & 2020 but never disclosed any evidence of arson. This is the 6th Tesla to spontaneously combust since Dec 31st and obviously 5th this year.

The larger batteries would not see the same uniform penetration because only a small area of the battery sees the center of the coil it is placed on
In this dissertation, they found that external magnetic fields significantly increased charge and discharge rates in individual lithium battery cells; like shown in the following image. They also found that smaller batteries were impacted to a greater degree than larger ones. This is likely a reason Tesla is switching to larger battery cells in addition to employing magnetic attenuating honeycomb sandwich battery pack.

Unfortunately for Zhang, likely result in an innocent man being charged, I can tell you already what Tesla will find. Tesla will come back saying that logs showed only accelerator pressure, little or no brake input like described in a study below, and that the accelerator pressure was near max when this Tesla suddenly accelerated to 100MPH and slammed into several cars waiting at a traffic light. How can i confidently make such a prediction? Because this is found in every SUA accident because the logs record what the car does not necessarily what the driver tells it to do. Under certain circumstances, such as slow driving, when the power steering requires more power, the draw on the 12-volt battery can cause a significant spike in the system. This voltage surge could lead the inverter to incorrectly conclude that the accelerator pedal has been pressed, resulting in unintended acceleration.
This unexpected acceleration could theoretically happen when a voltage spike, lasting only microseconds, occurs simultaneously as the car performs an ADC check, also lasting microseconds. Belt suggests that the frequency of these events aligns with the 200 or so incidents reported between 2013 and 2019.
Adding complexity to this issue, Belt contends that due to the nature of the fault, it does not get logged as an error. The inverter’s misinterpretation of a voltage spike as a throttle input leaves no trace, leading to discrepancies between Tesla's vehicle data and owners' accounts, possibly explaining why the ODI initially denied the petition.
While Belt's allegations primarily focus on the Model 3, which features a unique inverter design, he notes that similar errors could occur in Model S and Model X vehicles. This opens up the potential for a broader scope in the ongoing investigation.
NHTSA Petition Claims Tesla Sudden Unintended Acceleration Is Real
What's worse is that the incorrectly increased sensor signals will be sent via the CAN bus to the vehicle logs, causing Tesla and NHTSA to conclude that the driver caused the sudden increase in torque by stepping on the accelerator pedal. But in this case, the sudden acceleration was caused not by the driver stepping on the accelerator pedal but by a random superposition of a negative-going voltage spike (which is about 100 microseconds long), and the sampling time of the analog-to-digital converter (which is about 10 microseconds long). This random superposition explains the low occurrence rate of sudden acceleration in Tesla vehicles
SUA has impacted every main Tesla car model S/X, 3/Y, & even the Cybertruck. Im not aware of an incident involving a Semi...yet...although the one that drove into the trees with an engine fire may have experienced SUA.
As this issue has impacted just about every Tesla model and year, i doubt Dr Belt's theory in relation to the the origin of the fault, is exactly correct and certainly not easy to fix as its still a problem. Thus i expect the NHTSA will deny this petition at some point despite this issue continuing to plague Teslas. I believe the problem of SUA is EM interference induced which impacts other EVs as well per a study in China. EMI can cause these voltage spikes to compensate from a drop in voltage as described in the following quote. E3 usually pertains to EM blast from a nuclear explosion but during geostorms/unrest this same sort of voltage depression can be observed in electrical systems.
E3 can also affect subtransmission and distribution systems by causing harmonic distortion and voltage depression. The voltage regulators at the substation will attempt to correct for low voltage levels on distribution circuits. This attempt can result in overvoltages when the E3 stimulus decays to a low value

Elon Musk's Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has been unsurprisingly in the spotlight of late, with close comrade Donald Trump sworn in as the U.S. President this past Monday. Even prior to this week's scandals, TSLA options have been a favorite among traders. For today's trading, the electric vehicle (EV) maker is down 0.4% to trade at $413.33.
The stock recently reappeared on Senior Quantitative Analyst Rocky White's list of equities with the highest options volume over the past two weeks. Specifically, 13,713,947 calls and 10,003,267 puts were traded in the last 10 sessions — only second to chip darling Nvidia (NVDA). During this time frame, the weekly 1/17 440-strike call was the most popular, closely followed by the 430-strike call in the same series.
Shares of Tesla stock have nearly doubled over the past 12 months, surging 98%, with recent support emerging at the 40-day moving average. However, today's shift lower comes after the EV name said it will be sharply hiking prices in Canada, not long after also increasing costs in China. The equity is on pace to log a third consecutive daily loss.
At the International Securities Exchange (ISE), Cboe Options Exchange (CBOE), and NASDAQ OMX PHLX (PHLX), TSLA's 50-day call/put volume ratio of 1.78 ranks in the 96th annual percentile. In simpler terms, calls have been popular over the past 10 weeks for Tesla stock.
Plus, the stock's Schaeffer's Volatility Scorecard (SVS) ranks at 93 out of a possible 100. This suggests Tesla stock has tended to exceed options traders' volatility expectations over the past 12 months.

Car in collision with telegraph pole in Worthing - Regular Driver
A driver has been taken to hospital after a collision in Worthing.
Photos taken on Terringes Avenue show a badly damaged Tesla, which collided with a telegraph pole.
Sussex Police said the ‘car v telegraph’ road traffic collision was reported about 11.35am.
Little detail, but a Tesla Model Y (?) was just driving down the road and suddenly veered into a power pole. Teslas do like veering off their path to drive into trees...or what used to be a tree. Same thing happened in Utah.

FSD Failed - A Tesla Cybertruck Owner Narrowly Avoids An Accident. Too Much Faith in The Truck's FSD?
“FSD failed big time. I almost died. No amount of manual intervention could have prevented it. Good thing the other driver swerved. FSD is fatally flawed.”
Essentially, he claimed that the FSD failed to recognize the red vehicle (a Toyota truck) and yield. But is it really a malfunction? As it turns out, it could be a case of rushed software, since I found an older Reddit discussion, mentioning the Tesla FSD's inadequate decision-making when the car is merging or when another vehicle is merging.
Watch the video, its not as bad the person posting it makes it but they are correct, FSD failed to yield and that almost resulted in an accident if it wasnt for the maneuvering of the person driving the Toyota truck. Man > machine on this one! Also, i suspect the operator of this Cybertruck was distracted feeling too comfortable with FSD doing the driving that he wasnt ready to take over. This is a common problem with people in Teslas and using its autonomous tech...they tune out as most people would in their circumstances. DO NOT TRUST THE MACHINE! They can glitch at anytime.

What's worse is that the incorrectly increased sensor signals will be sent via the CAN bus to the vehicle logs, causing Tesla and NHTSA to conclude that the driver caused the sudden increase in torque by stepping on the accelerator pedal. But in this case, the sudden acceleration was caused not by the driver stepping on the accelerator pedal but by a random superposition of a negative-going voltage spike (which is about 100 microseconds long), and the sampling time of the analog-to-digital converter (which is about 10 microseconds long). This random superposition explains the low occurrence rate of sudden acceleration in Tesla vehicles
SUA has impacted every main Tesla car model S/X, 3/Y, & even the Cybertruck. Im not aware of an incident involving a Semi...yet...although the one that drove into the trees with an engine fire may have experienced SUA.
As this issue has impacted just about every Tesla model and year, i doubt Dr Belt's theory in relation to the the origin of the fault, is exactly correct and certainly not easy to fix as its still a problem. Thus i expect the NHTSA will deny this petition at some point despite this issue continuing to plague Teslas. I believe the problem of SUA is EM interference induced which impacts other EVs as well per a study in China. EMI can cause these voltage spikes to compensate from a drop in voltage as described in the following quote. E3 usually pertains to EM blast from a nuclear explosion but during geostorms/unrest this same sort of voltage depression can be observed in electrical systems.
E3 can also affect subtransmission and distribution systems by causing harmonic distortion and voltage depression. The voltage regulators at the substation will attempt to correct for low voltage levels on distribution circuits. This attempt can result in overvoltages when the E3 stimulus decays to a low value

Tesla crashes into Mission District plant store - Autopilot/FSD failure
Creely spoke to the driver of the Tesla, who said she had her car on autopilot to make a right turn onto San Carlos and into her garage. The car, however, wasn’t executing the turn. When the driver went to disengage autopilot, she told Creely, she hit the accelerator by mistake.
Looks like this Tesla on AP or FSD, sometimes articles say Autopilot when it was actually FSD, failed to make a right turn and the driver thinks they hit the accelerator hard enough to drive into a building across the street. Based on where the Tesla hit it looks as if this person lives in the building complex on the northeast corner of 21st street & San Carlos. However AP/FSD missed the turn into the driver garage and somehow the driver seems to have caused the Tesla to surge into the building on the Northwest corner of 21st & San Carlos trying to disengage AP/FSD. Im not saying i know how to properly disengage Teslas AP system, but google indicates you hit the brake not accelerator. So i wonder if this individual thinks they hit the wrong pedal when this Tesla suffered SUA the way another Tesla did not far away? Either way Autopilot/FSD still failed and resulted in the series of unfortunate events. Also did Autopilot steer into the building across the street or did the driver? We do not know if she successfully disengaged AP/FSD because accelerator doesnt disengage them.

One Killed, Seven Injured In Multi-Vehicle SoMa Crash; Tesla Driver Detained, Linked Also to Freeway Crash - Regular Driver?
The crash happened around 6:10 pm Sunday, and a black Tesla appears to have approached a line of cars stopped in traffic at a high rate of speed, including a Waymo, colliding with one and causing a chain reaction. As KRON4 reports, seven vehicles were involved and there were eight total victims reported, with one victim killed, and two transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A dog was also killed in one of the vehicles.
The black Tesla that may have caused the crash, pictured by the Chronicle here, appears to also have been linked to a hit-and-run involving four vehicles on I-280 which occurred at roughly 6:09 pm, just one minute before the Sixth Street crash. As Bay City News reports, the I-280 incident caused only minor injuries. The CHP is investigating that crash.
This sounds just like the following incidents in China where Teslas malfunctioned and is the second out of control Tesla incident in San Fran on Sunday with the other one being on Autopilot...or maybe it was FSD and media is saying Autopilot to confuse readers. Something theyve been known to do.
Tesla China responds to Chengdu crash involving 11 vehicles
Tesla’s China operations team on Monday denied that a technical failure was to blame for a crash on Nov. 25 in the southwestern city of Chengdu involving a speeding Tesla and 11 other vehicles; three were injured but no one was killed. An analysis of the car by the US automaker found the accelerator pedal had been pressed hard, increasing the vehicle’s speed from 54 kilometers (34 miles) per hour to 132 km/h at the time of the crash. Queried online in China about why the brake light was on but the car did not slow down, the company explained that the brake pedal was only applied two seconds after the initial hit when the brake was already damaged. The car owner surnamed Wang told Chinese media outlets that his new Tesla, registered the same day, accelerated suddenly and had been unable to stop.

Both FSD cases, 1 professional driver case, 4 regular driver cases, & 1 intoxicated driver case, the Teslas slammed into a tree resulting in the death of at least 1 person. 1 autopilot case the Tesla veered off the road and rolled into a tree. 2 Autopilot cases suddenly veered into the median. 2 regular driver incidents involved locked steering. It appears as though the Semi suffered some sort of electrical issue causing an engine to catch fire and it veer off the interstate into trees. The Cybertruck incident also involved locked steering but included sudden unintended acceleration.

Details of over 200 Autopilot-related accidents were complied, with new patterns being discovered.
The report states that in the accidents, Tesla’s Autopilot struggled with obstacle avoidance, and cars also veered off the road.

The exact cause of the Hutchison Effect is unknown in public spheres as it is classified under national security. However the most likely culprit seems to be a combination of electromagnetic sources coming together in a way to change the makeup of metals leading to their rusting, softening, fracturing, complete breaking, even dustification. Keep in mind the degree of metal materials that are within our buildings and infrastructure...even in concrete. Maybe this is why we are seeing an increase in building and bridge collapses?
