WHEELING, W.Va., July 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Corporation (NASDAQ:WPSC) announced today that
Steven Sorvold, President of Wheeling Corrugating Company, has
resigned from the Company effective July 31, 2007. Wheeling
Corrugating Company, an operating division of Wheeling-Pittsburgh
Steel Corporation, manufactures fabricated steel products for the
construction, agricultural and highway industries. James P.
Bouchard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer stated "Steve has
elected to pursue other opportunities and we accept his decision.
We thank him for his past seven years service to this Company in
various senior management positions, particularly in his assistance
as Craig and I assumed our positions here late last year, and wish
him well in his endeavors going forward. We also recognize the
importance and contribution of this division to the Company's
current operations and future growth expectations, and have
