Is anyone here attending the NeurIPS 2024 in person or virtually? Some access to the Verses presentation would be idyllic.

Everything means something. The Final Exam for this semester is on the Atari 10K. But you are right. Next year brings new challenges and a new race. Winning the 10K is a worthy achievement. I like betting on winning horses, not overpaid trainers saddling up inferior entries to satisfy the ego of their owners.

The results for the Atari 10k,imo,will be released this week at the conference...It would provide the biggest impact with the entire AI world in attendance,and would be free publicity for Genius.
Management is staying very low key,and will let the results speak for themselves.

From everything I've seen,their warehousing automation partnerships are all going well,and seem to be deeply integrated into their partners' systems.
Everyone is just waiting for the Beta phase to be over.

The headline on the the PR from the company,on Stockwatch only,said they were conducting the Atari Tests this past week...Tobin Smith stated in 23rd of October Transformity Research report that they would know in '40 days' what those results were,after having spoken to Gabriel Rene in a conference call.And it would be for ALL 26 ATARI GAMES.
So we hear either next week sometime or at the latest the week after.

Keep a close eye on the Canadian newspapers suing Open AI for stealing their content...If they win,then everybody around the world will jump in,and it's either the end of the LLMs,or they all try to pivot to something else.

Once again it is a great read and might cause a shareholder to start salavating. Tobin has really set the table, but the main course is still under the a cloche. Gabe did send out a presser saying there will be announcements and a year-end update. It will be later than Toby thought. Guess we will just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope the news is super solid!

The research report found on your link is very informative but contains information that I already know because the report will be two years old in 10 weeks. But it's still a great reminder of what VRSSF shareholders are hoping will come to fruition. I remember Bitcoin had a slow start and crash, then a huge secondary rally, followed by a crash and now rally #3, or is it #5? Good things take time and markets will be volatile. I am patient, but also anxious for a dump of corporate updates. 🧐

I believe there will be some news coming next year. It would be foolish to release anything before the tax selling period of Dec 31. What you are reporting sounds very exciting. If they announce 15% of that in the first 60 days of 2025 my enthusiasm for the company
will be over the moon. I don't know you and I do not know the source of your information but it sounds plausible. I am ready for some good news.

Verses is now in the final stage of the beta.Adding GoProdigii to the beta is beta in name only.This is the finished product.Blue Yonder has been a beta partner since the Wayfinder days,1.5 years ago.
SVT Robotics was part of it for the past 1.75 years.Same for the drugstore chain.And now it's being used in the Smart City contract in Abu Dhabi,'in the first on many'...Not as a beta test of its ability.
GoProdigii is now promoting Genius as part of its business plan,which means it is safe for future customers to use in their systems.
Shouldn't be long,next couple of months,before they start announcing contracts and ready for public release.
The contracts will be the signal for a huge financing,that will be considered safe as an investment at a typical 10x.That is how they came up with that valuation.
Then they will be financed for production and new hirings.

As the end-of-year comes even closer it is routine for shareholders to sell out their losing positions to off-set the profits they are taking on other securities. This can lead to an unexpected drop in share prices that MIGHT be reversed in the last days of the current year and the following year. I've seen it happen and taken advantage of it in the past. NOT A PREDICTION. Just saying be aware of tax loss selling.

Instead of hurling insults perhaps you could read the question more carefully. The question is: where is the JV with Panasonic? Why is the mother ship with all of their electronic wizardry not more involved. They can build handsets, lap-tops, smart TVs with Genius capabilities. Where are they in the process?

This company can't continue to burn cash w the stock price this low. I loved the idea &mgmt sold me on their vision. But they clearly don't know how to ship a finished product & bring in revenue.

You are supposed to be “in the know “ with your alledged “tip line “. What cave do you dwell in? Or was that an intentional fake news event to scare off investors? They’re on board and Verses is listed the Blue Yonder website as a significant partner and they specifically explain the Genius product in their toolbox.

Because Blue Yonder is wholly owned by Panasonic, I'm curious as to why a company with their hardware & manufacturing capabilities has not indicated any involvement yet, assuming they are impressed by the warehouse technology contract in place for over a year.

Now that the PP is almost over with,there will be no more pressure on the stock price for a while.Always hard to say as it takes news to run a stock,no matter which exchange it's on.
But,in any case,they seem to be making a lot of progress,and they are really getting their name spread out there.
LLMs are already slowing down and the numbers of users are dropping,and the word is spreading on Active Inference.Just a matter of time.

Just in case anyone thinks what Verses is trying to do with the Atari games test is easy and can be done at the drop of a hat because it's supposed to do anything it wants with Genius,here is a study done with various LLMs that failed to score well on $100 billion systems.
Deepmind was finally able to do it after probably years of working on it and having a section of their lab focusing only on that,and then it improved the score only years after that and it probably cost many 10s of millions of dollars just programming it specifically for that job.
Verses is working on getting Genius to become interoperable over many different software and hardware,which is what their Beta program is trying to achieve,not just over one type of hardware and\or one type of software from one maker,but over any and possible all.This is extremely hard.Which is why they are picking different companies over the Beta.
This is a test that was done using many LLMs on training them on certain Atari games and their score verses human play.

lol! Lie much? The (HYPOTHETICAL) future financing round, according to the filings, states that Verses gave G42 the right/option (BUT NOT the OBLIGATION) to finance up to $350m. Nowhere does it state that G42 was even interested in doing so.

Always interesting to hear your thoughts. During my lifetime I have seen that true events are typically stranger than fiction; meaning anything can happen!

With rumors circulating about a Tesla phone,that would be a potentially massive market share loss to the other phone makers because of the ability to add Star Link and at whatever price Musk would decide to break the other phone makers,along with his own AI chatbot.
All the computer/phone makers are spending billions trying to become the first with AGI,but no one is close.
What are the odds that not one of the top computer/phone/operating system manufacturers is going to come calling once production is set to be announced for Genius?
More billions for hope and a prayer,and getting left behind,or more billions for a sure thing,and the only one in existence,and all the business in robotics,smart cities,drones,games,movies and warehousing it can handle?

The upcoming benchmarks are extremely important to Verses.They are the proof to the scientific community that Genius works as advertised.Everybody is now talking about Active Inference and the Spatial Web.All you have to do is go on LinkedIn,it's all over the place in the IT and AI world.
There are only two ways for Verses to get full value if they prove up the benchmarks and aim towards production of Genius.
They put out their own line of computers and phones with Genius as the Operating System...or they get taken out at $20-30 billion.
There is no other way.
People who are quibbling about $.40-.50-.60 will be wondering why they worried about that if the benchmarks prove out and the way is paved for Genius to roll out.
If they don't have their own hardware to put Genius onto they'll literally be throwing 100s of billions out the door.
G-42 looking to get into at a measly $350 million at a starting valuation of $3.5 billion is like getting into ms or Google at rock bottom prices before they took off.$350 million sounds like a lot,but it is a steal if the benchmarks prove out.
Their own computer-cellphone line or a straight buyout,that is all that can happen with Genius.There is a 3rd way.Every computer company out there that runs an Operating System buys into a license with Genius and replaces every other Operating System in existence,or prepare to lose your market share in computer/phone sales.

Arxiv.org is a pre-print archive...Usually people submit their article to Arxiv at the same time they submit it to a peer-reviewed journal.
Peer-reviewed journals can take a while to finally publish the article,so Arxiv is a nice way to get your work out there early for people to claim ownership/copyright of their work while getting it out there for people to read,cite,collaborate with you on etc.
This is a big deal!...Arxiv has gatekeepers.If you aren't known to them,you need someone to endorse your submission.
Volvo putting their stamp of approval on the paper is the seal of acceptance.

When investors have significant losses there can be tax loss selling while taking profits in other holdings. This could last until the final few weeks of the year unless some very encouraging news is released, just saying......

Everything that you're saying is hypothetical! Think about it, the "$350M investment round" was likely written into the G42 debenture agreement as a way to dangle the carrot, and it will probably never happen!! Filthy Verses and G42 putting that in there just ensures Verses can keep selling shares, and G42 can dump their shares for profit on the people who believe that will actually happen!!!

Execs in small tech companies get a pass bc that is just how tech goes, zuck, gates etc… However, they keep talking about all these things they’re going to do. Management from Verses,their engineers,and others associated with the company sure are keeping tabs and liking posts of a who's who of what you would think would be competitors on LinkedIn,but who could be part of their Beta program,because Verses is telling no one who is in that program.

This isn't just decided by the company or an investor out of thin air.A valuation would have been done by financial analysts based on the projected future revenue and the space they are in.In the past Gabriel Rene has insinuated that by 2025 they would be seeing $300-500 million in revenue coming in.
The analysts coming up with the $3.5 billion valuation would have needed to have some sort of actual proof the revenues could potentially be in that range before they could come up to their Post Money Valuation of $3.5 billion.The big investors putting up the actual $350 million want proof.Their money isn't chickefeed.
Valuations,and/or stock price would typically be at 10x-12x revenue.So the Private Placement of $350 million would be in line with a projected $300-500 million revenue stream that Rene talked about,once Verses is in production mode and deals have been signed.And 10x that is $3.5 billion.And Rene just saying so wouldn't be proof.He would have shown them the proof.
These are analyst numbers....So people should consider this before they talk themselves into selling this stock because of bullboard banter mostly filled by daytraders who are addicted to moving money into and out of stocks,losing most of it over time,who get their highs by the action and thrill of going to new bullboards and discussing their new target,whining,complaining,high if their up a few cents,dejected if their down a few cents,then move on to their next thrilling stock...This is addiction...And every single addict in life loses.

Many of the engineers with Verses are following different entities on LinkedIn,imo,because there are a lot of people/companies using Genius on different products and are expressing their opinions on how they are progressing and seeing.
It would be a serious mistake to think nothing is happening with the beta program and everything else Verses is putting in place.
