(GTI) will launch the LTE TDD/FDD International Summit at the 2014
GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in Barcelona from February
24th to 27th. The year of 2014 is the 3rd anniversary of GTI
and also considered as the new epoch for 4G global scale
commercialization. The summit will witness in-depth discussions on
the latest progressions and status quos of 4G commercialization,
new technologies, application, market trends and business models of
mobile Internet industry in the era of 4G, to drive global large
scale deployment of TD-LTE.
This summit will convene over 500 attendees, including Mr.
Craig Ehrlich, Chairman of Steering
Committee, GTI, Mr. Shang Bing, Vice Minister, Ministry of Industry

whitepaper, the latest progressions and plans for 4G
commercialization in China, the
first TD-LTE roaming agreement with Korean Telecom (KT) and make an
interactive, dynamic presentation of VoLTE in collaboration with
Reliance Jio Infocomm Reliance Industries Limited during the
MWC.
Globally rapid development of 4G commercialization makes this
summit a hot spot. Representatives from more than 90 international
operators, including Bharti, Relliance and Sprint, will share their
TD-LTE deployment plans in the coming year and product progressions
and roadmaps, and give suggestions on the further development of
TD-LTE. Besides, a wide range of multi-mode multi-band terminal
products including 5-mode 13-band smart phones will be displayed at
the summit.
In addition, a ceremony for the 3rd anniversary of GTI will be
launched during the summit. Jointly founded by China Mobile and
other leading international mobile network operators in 2011, GTI
has become a leading platform to advocate cooperation among global
operators to promote global deployment and commercialization of
TD-LTE. GTI now has 73 partners and 100 operator members and with
28 commercial TD-LTE networks worldwide, playing a significant role

Mobile World Congress (MWC) is an annual combination of the
world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry sponsored by
GSMA. The first edition of MWC was held in Madrid, Spain. MWC was once migrated to
Cannes in French and settled in
Barcelona, Spain since 2007.
