Cigna CFO to Become COO, President of Company's Evernorth Health-Services Brand

Cigna Corp. said Eric Palmer, the finance chief, will become the
president and operating chief of Evernorth, Cigna's health-services
brand, effective Jan. 1, among other executive appointments.
Mr. Palmer will oversee Evernorth's pharmacy, care-management
and benefit-management services. Brian Evanko, the president for
the company's government business, will succeed Mr. Palmer, the
health giant said Thursday.
The company's government business includes Medicare Advantage
and Medicaid. Mr. Evanko joined Cigna in 1998. He has served as
business financial officer for the company's global individual
operations.
Matt Manders, who currently leads strategy and solutions, will
take over Mr. Evanko's role in an expanded capacity, becoming
president for government and solutions.
Everett Neville has been tapped as executive vice president for
strategy and business development, while Aparna Abburi has been
tapped to lead the Medicare business. The company appointed Amy
Bricker to lead the Express Scripts business.
