Limited Brands Inc. (LTD), the parent of Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works, could double its approximately $9 billion in U.S. sales over the next five years, Chief Executive Leslie Wexner said at a meeting with analysts and investors in New York on Wednesday.

The Columbus, Ohio, company, which only in recent years started to experiment with international expansion, also has the potential to reap another $20 billion in sales outside of North America, Wexner said.

Limited Brands shares rose 1.6% to $29.09 in midday trading. They've risen by more than 50% this year.
