Dow Jones News
By Colin Kellaher
McDonald's Corp. (MCD) on Tuesday said it named Ian Borden to
the newly created post of president, international.
The Chicago fast-food giant said Mr. Borden, who had been
president of international developmental licensed markets, will now
have oversight of all international markets, including
international operated markets.
McDonald's said Mr. Borden, who has spent 25 years with the
company, will continue reporting to President and Chief Executive
Chris Kempczinski. Mr. Kempczinski took the helm in early November
when McDonald's fired Steve Easterbrook over a consensual
relationship with an employee.
Joe Erlinger, who had been president of international operated
markets, succeeded Mr. Kempczinski as president of McDonald's
USA.
