Habanero Resources Inc. ("Habanero", "HAO" or the "Company") (TSX
VENTURE:HAO)(PINKSHEETS:HBNRF)(FRANKFURT:HRJ) wishes to announce that
exploration crews have been mobilized to Habanero's Lezai Multi-Element
Prospect, located approximately 100 km north of Chibougamau, Quebec.


The 2012 exploration is designed to follow-up on anomalous rock grab samples
collected during fall 2011 exploration at Lezai that returned zinc (Zn) grades
of up to 2,060 parts-per-million (ppm) and copper (Cu) levels of 1,075 ppm.
(January 16, 2012). Exploration will focus on additional rock and humus soil
geochemical sampling along a northeast trending belt of intermediate-felsic
volcanic tuff, basalt and gabbro rocks within the Frotet-Evans greenstone belt.


Following completion of exploration at Lezai, crews will mobilize immediately to
Habanero's Grand-Vallee North Aluminous Clay Prospect near Murdochville, Quebec.
Last work season HAO achieved samples up to 22.99% Al2O3 on the Grand Vallee
North Aluminous Clay Prospect (March 1, 2012). This prospect is located in
Gaspe, Quebec and comprises of claims covering approximately 7,400 hectares (ha)
and lies adjacent to Orbite Alumina Inc.'s 6,441 ha Grand-Vallee Property.


Work on the Lezai Multi-Element Prospect and Grand-Vallee North Prospect is
supervised by Kristopher J. Raffle, P.Geo. (BC) Senior Geologist for APEX
Geoscience Ltd. of Edmonton, AB, who is the qualified person for the project as
defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Raffle has reviewed the portion of
the technical content of this news release as it relates to the Grand-Vallee
North Prospect and the Lezai Multi-Element Prospect.

Multi-Element Prospect comprising of approximately 55,100 contiguous acres in
Quebec; and the Grande-Vallee North Aluminous Clay Prospect consisting of
approximately 7,400 hectares (18,285 acres) near Murdochville Quebec, bordering
Orbite Aluminae Inc.'s deposit.
