ITEM 8.01 Other Information

 

 

On July 29, 2013, Health Discovery Corporation (the “Company”) entered into a settlement agreement with Stephen D. Barnhill, the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.  Under the terms of the Settlement Agreement, (i) the Company paid $50,000 to, or for the benefit of, Dr. Barnhill and (ii) Dr. Barnhill executed a general release in favor of the Company, subject to any indemnification rights that Dr. Barnhill may have under any agreement, law, or insurance policy maintained by the Company.
