Consolidated Minerals Limited (ASX:CSM, AIM:CNM, FSE:CMN) advises that Palmary
Enterprises (Australia) Pty Limited ("Palmary") has announced that it will not
extend the Offer Period in respect of its off-market takeover offer for CSM.


The Offer will close at 7.00pm (Melbourne time) on 8 January 2008.


As at 7.00pm on 3 January 2008, Palmary has a relevant interest of 90.09% in the
issued ordinary shares of CSM.
