EP Global Opportunities Trust plc ("EPGOT") announces that it has applied for
the block listing of 1,900,000 ordinary shares of 1p each.

EPGOT has made the block listing application so that it has the flexibility to
issue shares to satisfy demand for EPGOT shares in the marketplace from time to
time provided that, at the time of issue, the market value of an existing EPGOT
share exceeds the underlying net asset value of that share.
