    Board Change

    London, UK, 13 August 2008: Meldex (AIM: MDX), the specialty pharma and healthcare company announces that Hiral Patel, Finance Director
is to leave the Company with immediate effect by mutual agreement.

    The role of Finance Director, will be filled on an interim basis by Helmut Kerschbaumer, who joined the Board on 3 July, 2008. Helmut
who is part of the management team from Melbrosin, which was acquired by Meldex in 2007 has more than 10 years of experience of the
pharmaceutical business. His primary responsibilities at Melbrosin were finance and logistics and so the Company feels he is well placed to
fill the financial capability of this rapidly growing business.
