Transaction in own shares
Phaunos Timber Fund Limited announces that on 19 May 2017 the
Company purchased 225,000 ordinary shares at no par value, to be
held in treasury, at a price of 49.125 cents per share.
Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital
consists of 545,529,832 Ordinary Shares with voting rights and in
addition 25,685,045 Ordinary Shares held in Treasury.
Accordingly, 545,529,832 Ordinary Shares may be used by
shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they
will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or
a change to their interests in, the Company under the FCA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

Established in 2006, Phaunos Timber Fund Limited ("PTF" or "the
Company") invests in a concentrated, but diversified portfolio of
timberland and timber-related investments. The Company seeks to
provide Shareholders with attractive investment returns over the
longer term, largely in the form of capital appreciation, but with
some income.
PTF is a Guernsey-domiciled authorised closed-ended investment
scheme, authorised by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission
