The Board of UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 16
January 2018 the Company purchased for cancellation 243,237
ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 171p per share.
Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting
rights in issue in the Company is now 89,953,971.
