Ariana Resources (LSE:AAU) has announced important progress through its 76%-owned subsidiary, Western Tethyan Resources (WTR), targeting regional expansion in the Balkans. The company has submitted an application to extend the exploration licence for the Hertica Porphyry Project and applied for a new licence covering the Slivova Gold Project in Kosovo. These actions form part of WTR’s broader strategy to unlock the mineral potential within the Western Tethyan Belt. Additionally, Ariana is assessing further exploration opportunities in North Macedonia and Bulgaria to build a robust pipeline of high-quality projects. These efforts are expected to enhance Ariana’s position in mineral exploration and create long-term value for investors.
