MATX at 92.465 what the hell? The news touting earnings estimate beat of $2.28 per share possibly. The same QT prior year was $9.49. How is that good news? The total annual after this qt and next will have dropped from $34 to if they're lucky maybe $6, 82% less. How is the stock worth $92 dollars? What's the miracle that is going to drive revenue ? Total BS. Should be $40 or less, back to its pre-pandemic levels.

MATX Again latest container quotes to the West Coast from Shanghai are less than $2000, and as low as $1000 for a 40ft. How is this stock going up? I would guess their earnings will be less than $1 per share next qt. How does a stock with earnings of $28 per share go to $4 per share and not return back to its former range in the $30s?

How can MATX stock price rise given the current cost of containers? Global shipping is way down. Since their peak stock price, $120 in March of 2022, my 40HQ container shipping cost has dropped from $28,000 to $3,500 each. How are they going to make their earnings? Somebody let me know what I am missing. I would guess they will return to the $40 range. Any feedback?
