Qualcomm Shares Rising After Settlement With Apple

Shares of Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) are rapidly rising late in
Tuesday's trading session following the news that the company and
Apple Inc. (AAPL) have agreed to drop all litigation.
At 3:09 p.m. ET, Qualcomm shares were up 17.53% to $67.26.
Shares jumped after the Apple news broke.
In a press release, Apple and Qualcomm said they reached
six-year license agreement, effective from April 1, and added the
settlement includes a payment from Apple to Qualcomm.
