Greenback Surges Up To 1-month High Against South African Rand

Against the South African rand, the US dollar traded higher in
New York trading on Friday. The greenback surged up to 7.6677
versus the rand by about 10:15 am ET, which may be compared to
Thursday's New York session close of 7.6030. This set a 1-month
high for the US currency. As of now, the pair is worth 7.6079. On
the upside, 7.7000 is seen as the next target level for the US
dollar.
