Air Methods Announces Two New Executive Hires

Air Methods Corporation (Nasdaq:AIRM), America’s leader in air
medicine, today announced the appointment of two key executives,
David Stratton and Chris Myers. David Stratton joins Air Methods as
senior vice president of Payer Strategy, and Chris Myers as senior
vice president of Patient Business Services (PBS).
David Stratton most recently served as
national vice president of Payer Strategy &
Operations (PSO) for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). During
his tenure at CHI, Stratton built and led the PSO team
that dramatically increased CHI's revenue from payers. Prior to
CHI, he worked at United Healthcare for 15 years in
Health Plan Financial Management, Healthcare Economics, and
Reimbursement Services. In Stratton’s new role at Air Methods, he
will develop and implement reimbursement strategies for the
Company’s air medical services operations.
Prior to joining Air Methods, Chris Myers served as
senior vice president of Revenue Cycle Management for Trident USA
Health Services, the largest national provider of bedside radiology
and laboratory services. At Trident USA Health Services, Myers
oversaw all aspects of billing, reimbursement, provider enrollment,
and payer relations. Prior to Trident, Chris worked at
AmerisourceBergen, Pharmerica and HealthSouth in various executive
roles. Myers will further develop and lead Air Methods’ revenue
cycle office, focused on continuing to reduce Days Sales
Outstanding (DSO) and drive the cash flows of the company.
