Comcast Corp. Acquires Streaming-Service Xumo

Comcast Corp. on Tuesday said it acquired Xumo, an
advertising-supported streaming service based in California.
Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Comcast said Xumo offers over 190 different channels showing
news, sports and entertainment programming.
Comcast said Xumo "will continue to operate as an independent
business inside of Comcast Cable."
Xumo said its service is available in the contiguous U.S.,
Canada, France, Germany, the U.K., Spain, Brazil and Mexico.
