SAN FRANCISCO, CA , a new online advertising firm designed to
capitalize on international traffic for premium Web sites, today
announced the appointment of several top business and interactive
marketing executives to its global advisory board.
The members include Taek Kwon, operating partner of private
equity firm TPG Growth; Eric Ludwig, senior vice president of
finance and interim chief financial officer of mobile game
publisher Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU); Rob Norman, global chief
executive officer of interactive media buyer GroupM Interaction;
and Greg Stuart, former CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau
(IAB). The wide range of experience in finance, interactive
marketing and company-building these industry leaders bring to
AdGent 007 will help drive the company's global expansion.
"AdGent's vision is to shake up the status quo in online
advertising and create a more efficient, transparent and profitable
environment for premium publishers and advertisers," said Cameron
Yuill, founder and CEO of AdGent 007. "The breadth and depth of
experience on our advisory board complements our in-house expertise
to effect much-needed industry change and further expand AdGent's
services globally."
AdGent 007, which recently secured $5.3 million in venture
financing, offers publishers and brand advertisers more
transparency than is currently available through the traditional ad
network model, which often leaves those in the supply chain
frustrated. For publishers, AdGent 007 acts as a multi-national
global sales force, which serves as a cost-effective extension of a
publisher's in-house team, working to sell inventory directly to
premium local and international advertisers. For advertisers around
the globe, AdGent 007 offers complete transparency and the ability
to secure cost-effective placements exactly where and when they
need to be to stay in front of high-quality traffic, regardless of
the country in which the site is located.
Board of Advisors:
Taek Kwon
Taek Kwon's years of investment experience will be a valuable
asset as AdGent expands. As an operating partner at TPG Growth,

capital. TPG is a leading private equity firm focused on funding
and growing technology, life sciences, biotechnology, renewable
energy and retail companies. Before joining TPG, Kwon was executive

change in consumer behavior, and that traditional models of
advertising and communication cannot survive in their current form.
Norman's vision complements AdGent 007's innovative approach to
industry issues.

startups and traditional advertising to the AdGent advisory board.
