Liberty Media Corp. (LINTA) Chief Executive Greg Maffei on Monday told an investor conference of the cable company's broad, but "judicious" overseas expansion plan.

Maffei said China, Brazil and India are "the next three or four countries we continue to look at" when asked of the company's overseas expansion plans. Of the three, he said the company was furthest along in China. He described the expansion pace to be "judicious."

Internet commerce is another focus internationally, he said.

"We are beginning to look at expanding a bunch of our e-commerce businesses internationally," Maffei said during an appearance at the investor conference. But he declined to be any more specific.

He also said that one or two movie studios could come up for sale, of which Liberty could be of interest. He declined to be more specific.
