They are automatically given except in extreme circumstances based on the rule enacted in January

extension related to bid price compliance issues are basically automatic with a couple of exceptions… bid price below $0.10 and/or reverse split history during listing period… neither of these apply to VFF so nothing to worry about

I do believe the projected earnings and tangible orders made a good impression and so the extension was granted. I also added more recently. :)

Village Farms Gets Nasdaq Extension to Regain Listing Compliance

11:05 AM EDT, 04/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Village Farms International (VFF) said Monday that the Nasdaq Stock Market approved its request for a 180-calendar day extension to regain compliance with the minimum stock price requirement for continued listing.

The company said it now has until Oct. 13 to regain compliance with the $1 minimum bid price requirement. The extension follows the expiration on Apr. 16 of the initial 180-calendar day period to regain compliance.

The notification has no immediate effect on the listing of Village Farms' shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market and its stock will continue to trade on the exchange, according to the company.

Shares of Village Farms were up 2% in recent trading.

I have been on the side lines waiting to see some kind of bottom in the weed stocks. I think we have seen that, I'm glad you took advantage of it. I think its time to start buying the few profitable weed stocks I like. I loved the part when he talked about Texas. I would love to see them go all in there with 100 dispensary's if they can, like TCNNF in Fla and dominate that State. They can eventually do a Billion a year there if Texas follows Fla. Here are some points that I thought were good.

1. Most important Vff is expanding cannabis not backing away like other Lp's

2. International Markets are more friendly to cannabis than the United States for now.

3. Medical Cannabis exporting to 5 countries, expecting that revenue to triple in 2025.

4. Dutch Market 10 licenses only 7 are being used, currently 80 coffee shops, which could lead to 500+.
Also, Dutch people seem to buy their cannabis daily instead of buying large amounts weekly or Monthly.
Customers do not pay sales tax.
There are 18 million people in the Netherlands.

5. Village Farms is producing the best quality of product so far per coffee shop owners.
Way better than the Black Market.

6. Village uses Indoor Facilities only for growing in the Netherlands, doing 5 1/2 to 6 cycles per year.

7. Per Mike they may look into getting into owning coffee shops in the future.

8. Currently growing 3k kilos per year, in 2026 production will go to 10k kilos per year once the second facility is done.

3k kilos = 6613.868 pounds at $1500 per pound = $9,920,802 per year est !
10k kilos = 22046.23 pounds at $1500 per pound = $33,069,345 per year est !

Any time Drew. I was buying pretty heavy in the 50's but when tariff news hit and dropped it to the 40's, I loaded up big time. Excited for the next couple years for sure

FYI- Last time they announced the extension the day after the deadline. With that in mind, I expect them to announce the extension NLT Thursday. We will see.

Yeah $.77 for every dollar for tax's is criminal. And village is still in the green that's amazing. Holland being small but not taxed should be a big deal for us. Us lacking direction on laws. And now the beef with us and Canada sucks.

Would be nice if Canada changed their regulations, which are under review and if the USA fully legalizes it. I think we would see new highs. :)

I thought I read GERMANY was building a facility and more countries receiving product. Texas will supply the USA.

People are gonna be mad about that impairment, but I don't really care. Our international sales are gonna go up by five x Buy and Holland's gonna have the bigger facility by the end of the year. I think we're looking great honestly.!

Despite the reclassification slowdown taking place there has been major accomplishments. :).

yep if they can get the reclassification done along with the the new admin backing it up the sector will have another pop.

Yeah , sucks but I'm going to keep adding little at a time. Regulations suck , but company is kicking ass 

cause weed sector been meh lately, i found that out the hard way lol, only way for them to pop is if they reclassify mj as schedule 3, hopefully this year and no more delays.
