Phelps Investment Management Co., an affiliated manager of Virtus
Investment Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRTS), today announced that
Steven Wittwer, CFA, has been added
as portfolio manager on the Virtus Duff & Phelps Global
Infrastructure Fund (Class I: PGIUX). Connie Luecke, CFA, senior managing director and
senior portfolio manager for Duff & Phelps's global listed
infrastructure strategies, remains the lead portfolio manager on
the fund.
Wittwer, who joined Duff & Phelps' global listed
infrastructure team as a senior analyst in 2017, specializes in
research and analysis of the global communications, transportation,
and utility sectors. The global listed infrastructure team invests
in owners/operators of essential services companies involved in the
communications, utility, transportation, and energy industries.

Wittwer began his investment industry career in 1997 and joined
Duff & Phelps in 2017 after almost four years at Great Lakes
Advisors in Chicago where he
served as a portfolio manager and research manager. Prior to
joining Great Lakes Advisors, he worked at UBS Global Asset
Management for 14 years in various capacities, operating as head of
the global telecom team and a key participant on the firm's global
technology team, and conducting research in the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
He earned his B.B.A. in accounting from the Wisconsin
School of Business at the University of
Wisconsin and his M.B.A. in finance from the Ross School of
Business at the University of Michigan-Ann
Arbor. Wittwer is a Chartered Financial Analyst®
(CFA®) charterholder and earned the Certified Public
Accountant designation.
