In Mexico? It's stable there for miners, is my understanding. San Dimas is in Mexico.

Considering the shareholder vote, would think potential nationalism dettrimental risk possible on the Gatos deal given the new order. Not listed in the supporting documentation and think that is a giant oversight. I also believe they recognize this risk, just not listing for whatever reason

Up almost 14% today. First Majestic behaving exactly like a high-beta silver miner should. Wait til silver starts trading over $50 oz and see where $AG is at...

I sense the real Silver rally will start next year...just need to get the post-election stock market crash out of the way first, then boom!

There's plenty of other choices. It's not wise to put all your eggs in one basket. Anything can happen to any one company at any given time. That's why many choose ETFs or mutual funds. One should never invest more than they're willing to lose and should never hold a stock they're uncomfortable with.

Not that I'm aware of. It's typical. With that said, silver hasn't really gone up much this year to "significantly" impact the SP of miners. Assuming there is a stock market crash after the election, everything will go down with it, however silver/gold won't drop as much as other assets. And should rebound quicker and go higher afterwards. Just like 2008 only more extreme this round.

What might be different this time is the value of the dollar could depreciate so fast that silver/gold may go higher regardless of market conditions. Thus, it's wise to have silver at all times, no matter what the market is doing. If I had to guess, I'd say the best time to buy silver and mining stocks would be "after" market crashes. That's actually what I'm waiting on before going big on the miners. I think the real action in silver/mining stock will begin sometime next year. Watch what happens to a high beta stock like AG when silver soars over $75oz. In the meantime, AG share price could get worse before it gets better.

Silver is about to break out above $33 and shoot to $50. The silver miners have been laggards. $ag will test $18 by mid next year.
