Canada to Buy 360 General Dynamics Vehicles for Up to C$3 Billion

The Canadian government said it will buy 360 combat support
Light Armoured Vehicles from General Dynamics Corp.'s (GD) General
Dynamics Land Systems-Canada for up to C$3 billion ($2.26
billion).
The government will also provide a loan valued up to C$650
million.
"To maximize the economic benefits of this project for
Canadians, the supplier will reinvest an amount equal to the value
of this contract -- dollar-for-dollar -- back into the Canadian
economy to create jobs and opportunities for innovation," the
government said.
