And like that PPS is up and we are at $40 a barrel with cuts in production.

I remember when opec finally said they need $65 to manage budgets about 10yrs age.

That won’t happen given the pandemic issues. Still in a good loading zone IMO.

It’s already been explained folks buy on the dip. How low/how long will the dip go/last is the question. If we all knew that answer we would all be rich.

We could see teens looking at 6 months charts. Take into consideration 9 months ago the start of the pandemic started and within the last 6 months the entire country was only on about a 55% lock down.

We saw for the first time oil commodity trade negative in that time period and then bounce back.

A dip in production should not take us that low again unless a lockdown is coming.

Middle East budgets need the price per barrel around $40+. A cut back to maintain that price is expected.

No I’m not just looking for a quick flip. I was looking for a reason for the move today that was happening in concert with many tickers. I am trying to justify putting money in play. It’s ok to say “I don’t get why their moving I couldn’t find any news. “

OPEC revised down by another 400,000 bpd its forecast for global oil demand this year, expecting consumption to shrink by 9.5 million bpd over 2019, cutting forecasts for the second month in a row as risks with the pandemic and economic activity remains skewed to the downside.

So yeah buy low. But I for one don’t enjoy sitting and waiting for a reversal or watching an investment fade lower day by day. Potentially being in the red for months, no thank you.

Since you need a detail explanation here you go.

Based on the fact that oil is not always in demand we have a window to buy again and wait for demand to go up and sell down the road.

I think anything in the $25 range to $30 range is a good buy.

If you wait for demand to come back then pps would have already went up in anticipation of this demand increase.
