Van Kampen Asset Management (the “Adviser”) announced today portfolio management changes for the Van Kampen closed-end municipal funds (the “Funds”). The Funds are managed by members of the Adviser’s Municipal Fixed Income team. The Municipal Fixed Income team consists of portfolio managers and analysts. Current Municipal Fixed Income team members include: Thomas Byron, a Vice President of the Adviser, Mark Paris, an Executive Director of the Adviser, Robert J. Stryker, a Vice President of the Adviser, Julius Williams, a Vice President of the Adviser, and Robert W. Wimmel, an Executive Director of the Adviser.

Mr. Byron has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 1981. Mr. Paris has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 2002. Mr. Stryker has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 1994. Mr. Williams has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 2000. Mr. Wimmel has been associated with the Adviser in an investment management capacity since 1996.

For each of Van Kampen Advantage Municipal Income Trust II (VKI), Van Kampen California Value Municipal Income Trust (VCV), Van Kampen Municipal Opportunity Trust (VMO), Van Kampen Municipal Trust (VKQ), Van Kampen Select Sector Municipal Trust (VKL), Van Kampen Trust for Insured Municipals (VIM) and Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade Municipals (VGM), the Municipal Fixed Income team members who have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of such Fund's portfolio and the execution of the overall strategy of such Fund are Thomas Byron, Robert J. Stryker and Robert W. Wimmel.

For each of Van Kampen Massachusetts Value Municipal Income Trust (VMV) and Van Kampen Ohio Quality Municipal Trust (VOQ), the Municipal Fixed Income team members who have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of such Fund's portfolio and the execution of the overall strategy of such Fund are Thomas Byron, Mark Paris and Julius Williams.

For each of Van Kampen Pennsylvania Value Municipal Income Trust (VPV) and Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade New Jersey Municipals (VTJ), the Municipal Fixed Income team members who have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of such Fund's portfolio and the execution of the overall strategy of such Fund are Mark Paris, Julius Williams and Robert W. Wimmel.

For Van Kampen Trust for Investment Grade New York Municipals (VTN), the Municipal Fixed Income team members who have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of such Fund's portfolio and the execution of the overall strategy of such Fund are Mark Paris, Robert J. Stryker and Julius Williams.
