Last week Defiance Silver Corp. (DEF.v DNCVF) closed a brokered LIFE offering and a concurrent non-brokered private placement for total gross proceeds of C$16.5M.

One thing the proceeds will be used for is a MRE at the San Acacio Project, part of their Zacatecas Silver Project within the historic mining region of Zacatecas in Mexico where other companies in the region include Newmont, Teck, Orla, & Capstone Copper.
