Application for admission of new ordinary shares to trading


Healthcare Enterprise Group plc ("the Company")  announces that a total of
509,606 new ordinary shares of 2.5p each have been issued and allotted pursuant
to the exercise of options under the Company's share option scheme.

On 23rd May 2006 two optionholders exercised their options over 254,803 shares
each. The exercise price was 2.5p per share.

Application has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading
on AIM.  Admission is expected to take place on 30th May 2006, bringing the
total issued share capital of the Company to 187,674,351 ordinary shares.
