                i-mateTM selected by Rabobank for mobile launch

i-mateTM (London AIM: IMTE), the specialist in Microsoft(R) Windows Mobile(R)
devices and software applications, today announces that Rabobank, one of the
largest banks in the Netherlands, has appointed i-mateTM to become primary
Windows Mobile(R) supplier for the launch of a major mobile business initiative.

The i-mateTM SPL smartphone has been chosen as the lead product and primary
Windows Mobile(R) device for the launch of Rabo Mobile, a combined phone and
mobile banking service. Rabobank will offer the service to their 2.6 million
internet-banking customers as well as 55,000 employees who will be offered the
SPL at a rate subsidized by Rabobank.

i-mateTM's ability to customize mobile devices to suit Rabobank's customer
requirements coupled with the Group's industry leading 24/7 customer support via
Club i-mate was central to the creation of this agreement.
