                      INVESCO PERPETUAL SELECT TRUST PLC                       

HEADLINE: Issue of Equity

The Board of Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc (the `Company') announces that
it has issued 1,032,100 Hedge Fund shares to a market participant at 126 pence
per share representing 4.93% of the Hedge Fund shares in issue.

The number of Hedge Fund shares in issue following this notification is
21,965,741.

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the issued shares to
be admitted to the Official List and the London Stock Exchange for the shares
to be admitted to trading. Dealings in such shares are expected to commence at
8.00am on 24 December 2007.
