The directors are pleased to announce that the Company has made a further
allotment of 1,756,558 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company under the
2001/2002 offer for subscription announced on 4 December 2001.

It is expected that dealings will commence on Friday 11 January 2002.

Ordinary shares of 1p each were allotted to the following director as part of
this allotment:
