telent plc postpones publication of results for the six months ended 30
September 2007



London - 14 November 2007 - telent plc (LSE: TLNT) is postponing publication of
its results for the first six months of the financial year ending 31 March 2008
due to the status of the current offer from Co-Investment No. 5 LP Incorporated
(CILP) to buy telent's shares. The company was scheduled to publish first half
results on 15 November 2007.



A revised publication date, to be not later than 30 November 2007, will be
announced in due course.
