Advanced Medical Solutions Group plc ("the Company" or "AMS")

Holding in Company


The Company received notification on 7 October 2003 that, following the recent
conversion of unit trusts to investment companies with variable capital,
AMVESCAP PLC ("AMVESCAP") and its subsidiary companies, on behalf of
discretionary clients, cease to be interested in 4,906,374 ordinary shares of 5p
each in the issued share capital of AMS ("Ordinary Shares").  AMVESCAP no longer
has a notifiable interest in the Company, pursuant to Sections 203 and 208 of
the Companies Act 1985.

AMVESCAP further advise that INVESCO English and International Trust plc still
has an interest in 7,812,159 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 5.49
per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, registered in the name of Chase
Nominees Limited.

None of these shares is beneficially owned by AMVESCAP.  This notification has
been made by AMVESCAP as Investment manager and investment advisor by virtue of
Section 203 of the Companies Act 1985.
