The Taiwan dollar dipped to more than a 9-month low of 30.642 against the U.S. dollar in early Asian trading on Friday. The pair is presently quoted at 30.61, compared to 30.445 hit late New York Thursday. The next downside target level for the Taiwan currency is seen at 32.00.

Today, Taiwan will provide August figures for industrial output and commercial sales.
