announced today that it has received recognition from Lowe’s and
Walmart for excellence in the lawn and garden segment. Central was
recognized for its partnership in delivering meaningful innovation,

Last week, Lowe’s presented Central with one of its three Vendor
Partner of the Year awards, the highest honor Lowe’s bestows upon
its suppliers. The award was given for Central’s collaboration on
Lowe’s private label products including Sta-Green fertilizer and
grass seed, as well as Central’s branded products including
Pennington grass seed and Amdro Quick Kill insecticide products.
Lowe’s also named Central Garden & Pet as its Lawn & Garden
Supplier of the Year for the second consecutive year.
At the end of August, Central received three awards from
Walmart, after having been nominated for eight awards in the lawn
and garden category. The honors included Lawn & Garden Supplier
of the Year, the Innovation award, and Walmart’s H3 award –
standing for Humble, Hustle, and Hungry. Central was recognized for
the development of private label product at Walmart, as well as
excellence in sales, people, and inventory management.
