Gadzooks Reports October Sales Results DALLAS, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gadzooks, Inc. today announced that sales for the four weeks of fiscal October ended November 1, 2003 decreased 29.2 percent to $13.6 million from $19.2 million for fiscal October 2002. Comparable store sales decreased 26.6 percent for the October period, compared to a 0.6 percent decline for fiscal October of 2002. Sales for the 13 weeks of the third quarter ended November 1, 2003 decreased 33.2 percent to $49.2 million from $73.7 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2002. Comparable store sales declined 31.4 percent for the quarter, versus a 5.1 percent decrease for the third quarter of fiscal 2002. For the first 39 weeks of fiscal 2003, total sales decreased 17.6 percent to $188.4 million from $228.7 million for the comparable period of fiscal 2002. Comparable store sales have declined 17.0 percent for the first 39 weeks of fiscal 2003, versus a 3.6 percent decrease for the first 39 weeks of fiscal 2002.
