Building Turbines, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: BLDW) ("BT" or the "company"), a developer of commercial building rooftop mounted horizontal-axis wind turbines, announced today that it has filed for its third patent.

According to John F. Graham Sr., CEO of BT, the company is working to continue enhancing their intellectual property portfolio. BT feels strongly that in an un-developed market such as commercial rooftop mounted wind turbines, creating value through research and development is a critical endeavor. The business of on-site renewable energy systems has structural, mechanical, electrical and environmental aspects that are all critical. The need for 'R&D' is paramount and as a result of that effort, an important achievement for the company is the filing of additional patents.
