Grimm vice president and general manager, Ford North America customer business group. Grimm reports to John Kill, senior vice president and president, North America customer group, who has been handling Visteon's Ford North America responsibilities on an interim basis. A 22-year veteran of the automotive industry, Grimm most recently was vice president of commercial operations for Metaldyne Corp. in Detroit. He joined Metaldyne in 2001 as a vice president and general manager leading two of the company's divisions. "Doug brings valuable leadership experience to our Ford North America customer business group," said Kill. "With his background in operations, sales, purchasing and program management, he will play a key role in advancing Visteon's three-year plan to improve all areas of our business." Prior to Metaldyne, Grimm was vice president of global strategic sourcing at Dana Corp. in Toledo, Ohio from 1994 - 2001. He began his career in 1984 with Chrysler Corp. where he spent 10 years in management positions of increasing responsibility within the company's procurement and supply office. Grimm holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Detroit and a bachelor's degree in economics from Hiram College in Ohio. He also completed the University of Michigan Executive Management Program. He is affiliated with the Manufacturer's Alliance and is a member of the Hiram College Board of Visitors.
