UniCredit Selects Accenture to Improve Operational Efficiency and Support Growth

UniCredit, one of Europe’s leading financial services companies,
has signed a three-year contract with Accenture (NYSE:ACN), under
which Accenture will provide a wide range of services to
UniCredit’s IT organization in Italy, Germany, Austria and the
United Kingdom.
The contract, won following a competitive tendering process, is
part of UniCredit’s broader efficiency-enhancement program, which
the bank has launched to improve competitiveness.
The agreement is designed to provide UniCredit with a flexible
technology delivery model, which will enable the company to quickly
adapt to market and regulatory changes and reduce operating costs.
Accenture will mobilize its highly-skilled professionals to ensure
UniCredit successfully operates its IT environment in line with
business demands.
