Wind turbine towers and wind turbine blades are both made from coal, are are major parts and machines used in the solar energy devices. So the demand for coal remains strong. More steel is needed for construction. Since Ibuprofen is also made from coal, the coal naysayers will be driving up the coal demands to medicate their growing headaches as they learn how foolish and short sighted their thoughts remain.

Merth, So we can soon be looking for some foreign company to buy BTU.
Kinda like Japan is buying America's greatest steel company.
Logical price for China, et al, to pay for BTU would be somewhere around $50/share.

During meetings the last six weeks regarding international cargo, manufacturing, and resource development it was made clear that some countries, particularly underdeveloped counties, are looking to enter into agreements with producers of coal, oil, natural gas, metals, and rare earths, to move their operation, particularly manufacturing, to these foreign lands. Here are some interesting, and alarming comments.

Counties with prevailing winds leaving the Country can produce large amounts of hot air, carbon dioxide, particulate, and other air born waste, and let the wind carry it off. The oceans will filter the waste, and waste the oceans do not handle is not their problem.

With the USA quickly regulating its industries out of business, and shuttering its energy sector, particularly coal and oil, the developing counties can pick up this wealth and sell the products to the USA. This will also result in a more β€œfair” distribution of international wealth.

As the US industries cease manufacturing, the US occupant demand for products will still increase, especially with all the new immigrants arriving by the million into the USA. These consumers will buy what other countries produce because the products will be no longer manufactured in the USA.

Products built in the USA, such as naval ships, trains, planes, heavy equipment energy, appliances, food, and consumer goods can be produced else where. The USA is spending so much of its wealth in world welfare and conflicts that it has plenty of money to pay more for foreign produced products.

Some USA ports are now being re0engineered to unload products like coal, metals, lumber, etc, rather than load ships.

Russia, China, India, and nations of South America and Africa are in the planning stage of railroads, and highways to transport goods to ports. Some jungles will become farms of jungle related plants and wood products.

Farm equipment no made in Illinois and Iowa can be made just a well and less expensively in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Furthermore, with less burdensome environmental energy siphons attached to the machine engines, the equipment will be more productive and less expensive to operate.

Interesting sets of meetings there were. As a loyal US citizen, I found some of the discussions outright scary. The international economic planning sessions were more than just scary.

Some argued that this is a form of business plan operated by China manufacturing and mining over the last several decades and serves as a good example of how this redistribution of wealth and jobs and be successfully attained.

This is the sort of international business news that the USA media declines to print, especially in a presidential election year. The amount of unused water, labor force, and natural resources in Africa, Latin America, and Asia is huge.

Here is another example. Kazakhstan has more oil reserves than all of Arabia and the Middle East. In some places it pools on the surface. One of the several planned pipelines to export some of this oil was built to the North and West, around the Caspian Sea, and through Russia, to a port on the Black Sea. About 20% of that pipeline is owned b one US oil company. The presence of oil is not their problem, lack of access to the Western markets and Europe is the challenge they are working on.

So, coal and other petro-chemical resources may be forced to go away in the USA, by being locked up, but the rest of the world is reacting to happily take over those national wealth building industries, and the manufacturing and jobs that go with them.

MERTH, [frozen batteries!!] Another great analysis!
My observation - INVESTING IS A VERY STRANGE THING:
I look around and see 100s of companies with P/Es of 50++,
and Market Caps in the $$$dozens of billions of dollars.
These bloated companies do nothing for humanity. Or very little.
And then there is BTU.
Gulp.

Well, this is no surprise for people who understand and accept scientific fact!

As thousands of electric cars across the Northern half of the USA are found useless, and left stranded in parking lots and/or near charging stations, because their Lithium batteries do not perform well in the cold weather. The batteries neither hold a full charge nor take a useful charge, when the temperature of the battery is cold.. The coal, oil, hydro plants, and natural gas which produces the electricity to the charging stations work just fine, but he the charging stations do not deliver a worthwhile charge to the car’s battery. Lithium electric car batteries, in cold weather, lose their charge and cannot accept a new charge, as the battery is damaged by the cold, Yes, I know that seems odd in the era of global warming. The earth is much hotter, right?

This also applies to lithium batters at home and work, such as lawn mowers, drills, saws, screwdrivers, and other lithium battery powered power tools. It is not wise to store lithium batters, or their chargers, in a cold garage, or truck during cold winter weather. According to a close relative, this week, lithium batteries in Arizona are severely affected by winter weather. A fully charged EV had a dead battery after a night in a hotel parking lot.

Further enforcing this scientific observation is the truth that Hertz is selling 20,000 electric rental cars due to their customers unwilling to rent them. The auto industry is rebelling against silly current edicts of the lunatic worshipers of the cold moon surface. Well, anyway, these lunatics howling at the moon are distractive to valid science, national security, and the convenience of sane and educated earth dwellers..

I am pleased you don't listen to Fox news, but then it is CNN, MSNBC, and others who are the faux news which .announce various propaganda enhanced and misdirecting quasi news fantasies. CNN, does not have a news room, they have a propaganda pit. he once great CNN stains the word "news". Fox News has also declined in quality. Among the general rules an educated sane person follows when listing to outlets claiming to be announcing news is that if the story is designed to make listeners afraid of some great power like disease, government, event, or cause, then the story should be immediately deemed suspicious and confirmed from other truly reliable sources, if our can find a truly reliable source. Perhaps you need to see ;an ophthalmologist or reading instructor. I did not say Fox news, I said Faux news.

True general rule announced multiple times in courts--- Most newspapers and news programs are not a reliable source of facts.

Peabody Energy Corporation (BTU) remains the largest green energy recycling company on the planet.

PS - BTU needs a marketing dept that does its job. Or
a huge change in stock market P/E "assignment" criteria.
IE:
1. BTU coal (that saves America) gets P/E of 2.5.
2. Companies that do things like schedule peoples vacations
get P/Es of 30+.
2a. Companies that use coal for their fuel to survive get
P/Es of 50+.
Go figure...

For your entertainment, here is a fun fact. Palm Springs, California, an upscale high cost and high class community, for years stooped reporting the temperature when when the temperature reaches 120 degrees. It was a community image motivation. Sumer temperatures in excess of 110% is common in the Coachella Valley, where Palm Springs is located.. Recently, Palm Springs reached is maximum recorded temperature of 123 decrees, but that was not a new record, that what just machinegun old records.

The real scientists and climatologists report that the currently USA temperature remains in a cooling trend, although this year is warmer than last year. As any scientist know, one data point does not make a trend.

Highly renowned climate scientists have said during the last few years that as long as there is a glacier on Antarctica or Greenland, planet earth is still coming out of its last ice age. Of coerce it is warming, it is natural.

If humans want to fight warming, then lay no more asphalt, pour no more concrete roads or parking lots, build no more heart absorbing roofs, plant more weeds and other plants. And for those of you which yell the most about climate change, stop hyperventilating about it and reduce your greenhouse gas output by at least 50% Stop eating plants that consume the carbon dioxide in the air, stop flatulating so there will be less methane in the air. stop living under a roof, turn off your air conditioning, stop using anything made with steel or steel machines. Internet, radio, television, cables, wires, paper, printers, computers, broadcast towers, and guns are all made by, and made of, materials which come from coal and oil. If the hyperventilating climate activists want to be real, and honest, stop making and producing and consuming the very things you fight against. You act and look stupid! And, the broadcast media which sensationalizes your cause only makes your problem worse, an in the process, invalidates the media value and credibility.

Fighting for clean air and plentiful clean water is a valid and noble cause

Excellent news. Our society, politicians, physicists, culture, etc. should understand that the best method of moving our society from carbon energy, such as coal and oil, is to build means of producing vast amounts of electricity at the lowest possible cost to the consumer or industrial plant, even if it is coal and oil fueled electricity during the transition. Too many idiots, and I use that word kindly, think that the transition should be accomplished by artificially increasing the cost of coal, oil, and all forms of electrical generation and forcing us away from natural gas, and other carbon fuels before the technology exists to transition to electric devices. The focus should be massive amounts of electricity at the lowest possible cost to the consumer.

Note: Recently I reviewed some very large mining tractors and processors which are fueled with electricity.

If we don't plan the trip well, we will starve and die on the way to the promised land. It still will require large amounts of carbon fuel to grow our grain, fruits, and vegetables., and to feed the animals, if we are so inclined to eat the beasts.

Climate news reminder...the highest temperature day in USA history was in 1913, 110 years ago. That record has not been broken. It is true that the hottest summer days seems to have shifted on the calendar, and a few daily records are being broken. Seasonal records are mostly unchanged. Temperatures in excess of 110 degrees in some Sothern states were common 60 years ago. This year is no worse, although a very large high pressure dome has been sitting over the Western states during the last few weeks. That dome is now moving Eastward, and the Eastern states may become a bit hot. I believe the 110 year old USA temperature record will not be broken.

Is coal going away? Is the earth dying from highest ever temperatures? Is it time to panic? Here is a simple reasoning.

Henny-Penny: The Sky is Falling!

Henny-Penny is a story young children should learn early: trying to incite panic can result in opportunists like Foxy-woxy doing real harm. The iconic story was published in English Fairy Tales, retold by Flora Annie Steel (1922),

One day Henny-penny was picking up corn in the rickyard whenβ€”whack!β€”an acorn hit her upon the head. "Goodness gracious me!" said Henny-penny, "the sky's a-going to fall; I must go and tell the King."

So she went along, and she went along, and she went along, till she met Cocky-locky. "Where are you going, Henny-penny?" says Cocky-locky. "Oh! I'm going to tell the King the sky's a-falling," says Henny-penny. "May I come with you?" says Cocky-locky. "Certainly," says Henny-penny. So Henny-penny and Cocky-locky went to tell the King the sky was falling.

They went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they met Ducky-daddles. "Where are you going to, Henny-penny and Cocky-locky?" says Ducky-daddles. "Oh! we're going to tell the King the sky's a-falling," said Henny-penny and Cocky-locky. "May I come with you?" says Ducky-daddles. "Certainly," said Henny-penny and Cocky-locky. So Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, and Ducky-daddles went to tell the King the sky was a-falling.

So they went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they met Goosey-poosey. "Where are you going to, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, and Ducky-daddles?" said Goosey-poosey. "Oh! we're going to tell the King the sky's a-falling," said Henny-penny and Cocky-locky and Ducky-daddles. "May I come with you?" said Goosey-poosey. "Certainly," said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, and Ducky-daddles. So Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, and Goosey-poosey went to tell the King the sky was a-falling.

So they went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they met Turkey-lurkey. "Where are you going, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, and Goosey-poosey?" says Turkey-lurkey. "Oh! we're going to tell the King the sky's a-falling," said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, and Goosey-poosey. "May I come with you, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, and Goosey-poosey?" said Turkey-lurkey. "Oh, certainly, Turkey-lurkey," said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, and Goosey-poosey. So Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey all went to tell the King the sky was a-falling.

Henny-Penny: The Sky is Falling groupSo they went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they met Foxy-woxy, and Foxy-woxy said to Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey, "Where are you going, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey?" And Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey said to Foxy-woxy, "We're going to tell the King the sky's a-falling." "Oh! but this is not the way to the King, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey," says Foxy-woxy; "I know the proper way; shall I show it you?" "Oh, certainly, Foxy-woxy," said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey. So Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, Turkey-lurkey, and Foxy-woxy all went to tell the King the sky was a-falling. So they went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they came to a narrow and dark hole. Now this was the door of Foxy-woxy's burrow. But Foxy-woxy said to Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddies, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey, "This is the short cut to the King's palace: you'll soon get there if you follow me. I will go first and you come after, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey." "Why, of course, certainly, without doubt, why not?" said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey.

So Foxy-woxy went into his burrow, and he didn't go very far but turned round to wait for Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey. Now Turkey-lurkey was the first to go through the dark hole into the burrow. He hadn't got far whenβ€”

"Hrumph!"

Foxy-woxy snapped off Turkey-lurkey's head and threw his body over his left shoulder. Then Goosey-poosey went in, andβ€”

"Hrumph!"

Henny-Penny: The Sky is Falling fowlOff went her head and Goosey-poosey was thrown beside Turkey-lurkey. Then Ducky-daddles waddled down, andβ€”

"Hrumph!"

Foxy-woxy had snapped off Ducky-daddles' head and Ducky-daddles was thrown alongside Turkey-lurkey and Goosey-poosey. Then Cocky-locky strutted down into the burrow, and he hadn't gone far whenβ€”

"Hrumph!"

But Cocky-locky will always crow whether you want him to do so or not, and so he had just time for one "Cock-a-doo-dle dβ€”" before he went to join Turkey-lurkey, Goosey-poosey, and Ducky-daddles over Foxy-woxy's shoulders.

Now when Henny-penny, who had just got into the dark burrow, heard Cocky-locky crow, she said to herself:

"My goodness! it must be dawn. Time for me to lay my egg."

So she turned round and bustled off to her nest; so she escaped, but she never told the King the sky was falling!

Current news about global warming!!! Research completed just today indicated that claims of highest ever temperatures in the USA being newly set records is a lie. The highest recorded temperature in the 50 states was set a 110 years ago, and is not about to be broken. The temperature in the Southwest states is not in danger of breaking summer records other than some isolated daily records. The 2023 summer temperatures are typical of hot summer days. Yes, there a isolated daily highs, but not summer or year long highs. Remember, the highest recorded temperature in the USA was 110 years ago. It is not hotter now!

Recent action of the Biden syndicate have made it vehemently clear that the administration is in full support of huge windmill farms off the Atlantic coast. There is little said about the flicker affect of the rotating wind mills on the ocean wildlife and the increasing death of whales and other sea animals caused by such devices from the electromagnetic field interruptions of sea life navigation, communication, and other destroying ocean ecosystems. Imagine taking wind turbine towers, and turbine blades, all made of coal, and placing them the ocean to pollute the ocean water. Is all that light, chemical, and industrial pollution worth the energy produced. The towers would be better placed in the National Parks, National Monuments, and on shore along the Pacific coast, Atlantic coast, and shores of the Great Lakes. Perhaps towers along the international boarders where we can double use the towers to hank surveillance equipment. Most of New England should welcome thousands of such towers. How about towers on tope of New York, Boston, Baltimore, Washing DC high rise buildings where the wind blows more than near the ground..

Just think of the large magnitudes of all that cruising wisdom!??

There remains many ignoramuses in the Federal, State, and local governments and NGOs who believe they will succeed to eliminate and use of coal and all coal mines. However, I know that they not so much ignoramuses as they are out right proven liars

I have proven that there is not a single item in a Super Walmart, Sam's Club, Costco, gas station, post office, any office, or any store, no mater what it sells, which does not depend on coal and coal products to get the product out of the store or to you home, regardless of the method of delivery. That is also true with all of your utilities, including power, water, sewer, telephone, internet, waste removal, etc. Furthermore, it is also true for the food you eat, the clothes you wear, your methods of transportation, your employment, and the house in which you live, and your heating and cooling in your car, home, or place of work.

Simply put, and without exaggeration, those who what all coal mines to permanently close must kill most humans in order to accomplish their goal. So, they are clearly a clear and present danger to you, your family, your community, and all Nations and peoples.

Nice Earnings: Unbelievably the stock has pretty much tanked ever since a very brief run-up the day this was announced.
Could it have to do with the election-rigging buckfidens's latest commie treachery declaring:
Fossil fuel companies must reduce their supposed injury to planet by 90%.
It's the EPA and the buckfidens's regimes that must be "reduced" [98%].. and punished for
the real injury that they have caused against America.

MERTH, we can always depend on you for the truth. Graphene:
"Graphene is found ("naturally") in China, Mozambique, Brazil, and India.
China is ranked as the biggest producer of graphene globally. "
Just another commie reason why buckfiden's China puppets
are treacherously trying to destroy America's coal companies.

BTU provides essential products which are ingredients for almost all products, including "green" energy, environmental, and woke industries. BTU products are essential in wind turbines, solar devices, electric vehicles, and all things connected to this items.

I see that the stock price of Peabody's decayed green energy products are resulting in a new sure in share prices.

The world has benefited greatly from the recovery and recycling of the ancient stores of green energy which lay buried in the earth for our present day benefit. Exploiting and consuming those old dead trees, and other other old decaying plant material, is far better than consuming our resources of currently growing trees and other vegetation. Why cut down living trees for fire wood, when we can use old dead trees made into coal which s so readily available. And, for our further benefit, when coal is burned the resulting heated exhaust gases helps the earth avoid freezing and furnishes additional air born carbon dioxide from which all currently growing plants are made. Anyone who understands science, and more particularly botany and/or biology, knows this simple carbon cycle science.

Some silly humans want yell at the moon about raising carbon dioxide levels. You want to stop the raise of carbon dioxide naturally? Then plant more grass, plant more weeds, don't kill weeds, and stop turning so mush great farm land into asphalt roads and parking lots, stop pouring concrete sidewalks, buildings, and parking lots, and stop making roofs that reflect the heat into the air and overwarm the planet. Humans do not damage the climate so much from the fuel we use, as we do from the buildings, roads, sidewalks, and other things we build, and the murdering of natural vegetation, including weeds and other unwanted plants which clean carbon dioxide from the air and increases the oxygen levels required by animals to breathe and survive.

Newer uses for coal in the USA

Some fly ash and bottom ash from coal fired power plants are being dug up to be used in products we used every day now, such as wallboard, gypsum, manufacturing cement, manufacturing autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC). Abrasives and roofing materials.

AAC is used extensively in other parts of the world and is slated for major manufacturing development in the USA and its possessions. AAC buildings are not subject to most molds, fire, (hello forest fire areas) hurricanes, corrosion etc. If its gets dirty or flooded, wash it down with a hose and refurnish your home. Its temperature, sound, and other insulation are phenomenal. The homes and business in Paradise, California would still be there if AAC us used. Puerto Rico homes would still be there if AAC was used there. AAC made from coal byproducts is a fine way of recycling those products. Build an inexpensive AAC hunting lodge and maintaining heating it in the winter is super easy. Check it our for yourself.

Coal is a key fuel in the production of aluminum for use in cars, trains, airplanes and energy producing equipment. It is also used in electrical transmission lines that carry power around the county.

30% of South Africa's transport fuel requirements are derived from coal-to-liquid processes. The South African plants produce more than 160,000 barrels of liquid fuel per day from coal.
Coal gasification offers a versatile and clean method of converting coal into hydrogen and other valuable products. Gasification breaks down the coal into its basic chemical components. In modern gasifiers, coal is typically exposed to steam and carefully controlled amounts of air or oxygen under high temperatures and pressures. Under these conditions, molecules in coal break apart, initiating chemical reactions that typically produce synthesis gas (syngas), hydrogen, carbon monoxide and other gaseous compounds. The hydrogen can then be captured and stored. 20% of hydrogen production comes from coal-to-gas processes

Activated carbon, produced from coal, is used to manufacture air filters....yah, air filters nearly all of use use at home, work, car, etc.

Ammonia gas recovered from coke ovens is used to manufacture ammonia salts, nitric acid and agricultural fertilizers. Thousands of different products have coal or coal by-products as components: soap, aspirins, solvents, dyes, plastics and fibers, such as rayon and nylon.

Some of this information courtesy of the World Coal Association.

All the above products are made using steel machines, transported in steel trucks, across steel reinforced bridges, and used in our lives every day. There is no known process to make steel in useable quantities without the use of large amounts of coal.

Don't forget, wind turbine towers are made from that steel, and the wind turbine blades are made from resins and fibers which are made with coal. Solar energy devices are made with steel machinery, transported by steel, and held in it final location of steel frames and fasteners.

Coal has its origin in plants. Plants under pressure and time became coal, so all the coal miners are doing are recycling old green carbon energy in to current noble uses. Those ancient green plants turned to rich black coal and companies like Peobody recycles it.. Very cool!

Some plow carbon into their gardens to help in plant growth.

Merth! Well (and sadly) stated. America is doomed if, on Nov 8, 2022, the vote stealers are allowed to steal again (possibly even more) like they did in 2020. It will still be a miracle to be able to undo the treachery that has been perpetrated by China's America puppet govt. aka - the buckfidens.
