AXA Announces $1.4 Million in College Scholarships

AXA in the US, a leading financial protection company, today
announced the 2017 AXA Achievementsm Scholarship, which will award
$1.4 million in scholarships to students throughout the nation.
Through the AXA Achievementsm Scholarship, more than 300
students representing all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico,
and the local communities where AXA operates will receive a
one-time scholarship in the amount of $25,000, $10,000, or $2,500.
Additionally, every scholarship recipient’s high school will
receive a grant for $1,000 to be used for educational
development.
“We are delighted to open a new season of the AXA Achievement
scholarships, which will benefit the bright young people who
represent America’s future,” said Faith Frank, president of the AXA
Foundation. “We are excited to help students take the next steps in
their pursuit of higher education and give back to the schools and
teachers that support the students’ success.”
Qualified candidates are high school seniors who have
demonstrated ambition and drive, determination to set and reach
goals, and the ability to succeed in college. Since AXA
Achievementsm launched in 2003, AXA has awarded over $25 million in
scholarships to more than 6,000 students across the country, making
AXA one of the nation’s largest corporate providers of
scholarships.

The online scholarship application is available at
www.axa.com/achievers and must be submitted by December 15, 2016.
Winners will be announced in the spring of 2017.
