Shells Sells Stake in Maclure Field to Nobel Upstream for Undisclosed Sum

LONDON--Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA.LN) said Wednesday it is
selling its 7.59% non-operated interest in the Maclure oil and gas
field to Nobel Upstream for an undisclosed sum.
Completion of the transaction remains subject to necessary
approvals, the company said.
The Maclure field, located in the U.K. North Sea, was discovered
in 1991 and put into production in 2002. The field is currently
producing 8,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, and is operated
by Maersk who owns a 38.19% stake.
