Conan O'Brien's TBS show "Conan" will end in June, according to
AT&T Inc.'s WarnerMedia, which said he will have a weekly HBO
Max variety show.
The travel specials "Conan Without Borders" will continue.
"Late Night with Conan O'Brien" debuted on NBC in 1993. Mr.
O'Brien, a former writer at "Saturday Night Live" and "The
Simpsons," took over "The Tonight Show" and eventually left NBC in
2010 after controversy related to the network returning Jay Leno to
the 11:35 p.m. time slot.
HBO Max debuted in May. AT&T recently reached a deal to
offer the service through Amazon.com Inc.
